Cologne (Köln) July 2011

 

On the way to Holland, we made a one-night stop in Cologne.  Most of you who have been to Cologne will recognise this landmark - the DOM.


Not knowing that the Cologne Lights night was the same weekend, we sort of crashed right into the crowd of tourists, street entertainers and traffic.

 Stroll along the Rhine river you can see these familiar sights.

You've not been to Cologne if you've not had a Kölsch......5 litre tall.
