Banana Cocoa Cake

Once again, 2 brown bananas lying in the fruit basket, attracting fruit flies.  Once bananas start to brown they are not attractive to many people.  When there are brown spots, they are at their sweetest but most people think there's something wrong with them. If you throw them out, you'll be throwing out Vitamin B6, Vitamin C and Potassium. 

This is the perfect time to make them into a banana cake.


250gm butter
150gm Allpurpose flour
1tsp baking powder
100gm cocoa powder (sieved together with flour & baking powder)
150gm sugar
5 eggs (L)
2 bananas  (mash coarsely with fork)

Set oven temperature at 180°C
Cream butter and sugar.
Sieve flour, baking powder and cocoa powder together.
Whisk eggs till foamy.
Alternately add flour mixture and eggs into butter cream.
Finally add mashed bananas.
Pour into a greased loafpan.
Bake at 180°C for 1 hour
