Chiffon Cake - Orange

Chiffon is really a simple cake to make, with open possibilities of flavours. 

The southeast asian version for one, with pandan (screwpine) flavour and coconut milk.

Complement with nuts, fruits, chocolate, the options seem endless.  

Garden Berries Dessert - Trifle

Is it a trifle ?  What's in a name ?  

Nothing beats the fruits from one's own garden.  My fruits of labour - strawberries, red and black currants, and raspberries.  Today will be start of summer so this is a welcome summer dessert.    

A simple quick dessert that will wow your guests upon presentation. It's fresh and light and will not disappoint.

No no......I am not turning religious.  Just bear with me for a second and read further on. 
Woke up early this morning, packed my cameras and jumped into car (faith is a journey, right) and drove out to the countryside.  Looking for churches!!  Yes churches.
Today is a religions holiday  -  Fronleichnam (+)

June Garden

I was busy with visitors the last few weeks and thus neglected my garden.  This cranky weather is playing havoc with nature. First it was too dry then too warm and now tropical rainstorm everyday.
Now there is even more work to be done.  But first the payoff  in early fruits and vegies.
